Tanzania and Russia have signed a cooperation agreement in aviation services that will enable the two nations to collaborate on ensuring international standards in aviation safety and aircraft operations.
The agreement was signed by Russia’s Deputy Minister of Transport, Vladimir Poteshkin, and Tanzania’s Deputy Ambassador to Russia, Ambassador Fredrik Kibuta. As part of this agreement, Russia is expected to commence direct flights from Moscow to Dar es Salaam.
According to Russia's Sputnik News Agency, the agreement outlines regulations and conditions regarding airport tax collection, customs duties, and excise control.
